Derry’s Balkan Alien Sound are to support New York’s acclaimed Gogol Bordello tomorrow night at Mandela Hall, Belfast.

Famed for their high octane live shows, this will be Gogol Bordello’s first show in the North and they have promised that it will be the best St Patrick’s Party ever.

The Balkans have just returned from a tour of Catalonia and are thrilled at this support slot - having been big followers of the band themselves. Gogol Bordello released their eagerly awaited fifth album in April 2010. Trans-Continental Hustle is the first studio album since 2007’s ‘Super Taranta!’ and promises a party maelstrom of electrifying proportions.

Tickets for the show are £25, available from Ticketmaster outlets, Queens Student Union, www.belfastfestival.com
