Plans to hold a Bloody Sunday commemoration march will be launched this morning by a number of relatives of those killed.

The launch will take place in Pilot’s Row Community Centre, at 11am today.

Kate Nash, one of those involved in organising the march, said a new committee has been formed to organise the march and added that a Bloody Sunday website is currently being developed and will also be launched.

Ms Nash, along with her sister Linda, and Helen Deery organised last year’s commemoration march, which was attended by around 1,000 people.

The organisers of this year’s march have encouraged anyone who in interested in getting involved to come along to this morning’s launch in Pilots’s Row.

The march takes place on the Sunday closest to January 30.
