Bocan Hall ceili tonight

There will be a ceili in Bocan tonight and all are welcome. Dancing is from 9pm-12 midnight and music is by Martin Duggan. Admission including supper is 5 euro.

Ceili classes are held in the Wee Hall Culdaff every Thursday at 8pm. Beginners especially welcome.

Deepest sympathy from all in the parish go to the Duffy family, Drumaville on the death of Patrick Duffy. Patrick is survived by his father, Packie, sisters Elaine, Marie, Maureen,Sarah, Roisin, Clare and Noreen and brother Paul and the wider family circle. May he rest in peace.

The Bocan Community Creche Annual Good Friday Cake Sale and Raffle will be held in Bocan Hall after the 3pm service on Good Friday 6th April.

Aqua Aerobics classes continue at the Red Gate B&B Drumaville, Malin on Tuesdays at 10.30am and 12 noon.Limited places available and booking is essential. Contact Lisa on 087-9704194

There will be a Hip Hop Dance Show on Thursday 29th March in the Malin Hotel commencing at 7.30pm. hosted by the Culdaff Dolphin Dance School and admission is 5 euro for adults and 3 euro for children. There will also be a draw with many prizes on offer so come on out for an excellent evening’s entertainment.

Quizzes continue in the Culdaff Arms Quiz on Sunday night with quizmaster Ollie commencing at 9pm sharp. All welcome.

Mother & Toddler Group meets in Bocan Hall and continues every Wednesday from 10.30am until 12 noon.

There was no winner of the Gleneely Colts Lotto lotto jackpot last week. Numbers drawn were 4-7-14-22 and the jackpot is now 7,000 euro. There will be a charity dance in the Strand Hotel, Ballyliffin tonight.Music is by Capricorn with dancing from 10pm – 1am. Admission is 5 euro. Culdaff FC 40th Anniversary Golf Classic

Culdaff FC Golf Classic will be held in Greencastle GC on Saturday 7th July. The cost per team is 10 euro. A time sheet is in operation and spots can be booked by contacting Neil on 087-7822294 or Brian on 086-3401139. OPfficial GUI /ILGU handicaps are necessary.

Inishowen Women’s Information Network is holding its Annual General Meeting on Monday, 26th March in its office at 18 Millbrae Heights Carndonagh. There will be a social in the Wee Hall, Culdaff on Friday, 27th April. Music is by the Glen Band with dancing from 10pm -2am.Supper will be served and all proceeds are in aid of Culdaff Church of Ireland Parish Funds.

Carn GAA hosts Strictly Come Dancing, on Easter Sunday Plaza Ballroom, Buncrana.

“Youth” Strictly Come Dancing in the Ballyliffen Lodge on Easter Sunday (8th April) Doors open 7.30pm and show starts at 8pm.Admission €10 and €5 for children under 12.

Culdaff FC’s Annual Night at The Races will be held in McGrorys Backroom on Easter Monday 9th April commencing at 9pm sharp. Horses priced at 10 euro are on sale from all players or committee members. This fundraiser is ongoing for more than 15 years and continues to be one of the best nights in the club’s social calendar. Come along for an entertaining night out.

Arthritis Ireland Inishowen Support Group will meet in the Day Unit of Carndonagh Community Hospital next Tuesday, 27th March from 7.30 to 9pm for people of all ages that have any form of Arthritis or Fibromyalgia.  Guest talk on ‘Fit walk programme’.
