Development plans for the regeneration of the Brandywell Stadium will be on show at the Brandywell Sports Centre next Thursday (July 24) from 2pm-9pm.
The information day will be open to all members of the public and will allow interested individuals to view the plans for the regeneration of the Stadium, along with the draft proposals for the wider development of the Daisyfied area under the Foyle Valley Gateway Master Plan.
Development at the Stadium includes plans for a new stand, playing surface and car park as well as a number of other associated improvements to the existing infrastructure.
Derry Mayor Brenda Stevenson says: “The open day will give members of the public the first chance to view the regeneration proposals and the opportunity to discuss this development, providing a way of alleviating any concerns that may have arisen around the regeneration plans.”
Derry City Council, which is hosting the event, says that, given the public interest in the regeneration scheme, representatives will be available throughout the day to answer any questions that members of the public may have.
