Staff and owners of Brunswick Moviebowl were at the world premiere of Mrs Browns Boy’s D’Movie in Dublin on Wednesday.

Attended by all the stars of the show, it was a glitzy affair at which Brendan O’Carroll made a speech and he almost broke down when he talked about how far the Mrs Brown concept had come, from radio skit to the cinema.

The movie has already gone down a storm with movie go-ers while the critics have questioned its move from television to the big screen.

However, advance tickets sales in the region of €1.2 million have shown the public can’t get enough of the comedy series.

Brunswick Moviebowl are showing the film up to eleven times a day in their current listings - so local fans of the comedy will not be short of a time to catch it!
