Bulky lift in Hazelbank and Coshquin

There were be a bulky lift scheme next week in Hazelbank and Coshquin.

The scheme which has been organised by Ballymagroarty and Hazelbank Community Partnership and Derry City Council gives residents an opportunity to get rid of unwanted bulky items easily.

Martin Gallagher Manager of Ballymagroarty and Hazelbank Community Partnership stated, “ We would urge residents to take this opportunity to clear out unwanted bulky items and other rubbish. These bulky lifts are part of Derry City Council’s strategy to prevent illegal dumping which has been so harmful to the local environment and creates eyesores in the streets and country lanes around Derry.

This bulky lift is one of a series which we organise every year with James McIvor and his colleagues at Derry City Council.

On Wednesday 29th June there will be collections at Marianus Park, Shanreagh park, Rosskeen Park, Inchview, Barr’s Lane, Farland Way, Norburgh Park, St Eithne’s Park, Drumard Park, 1& 2 Bealach Mor, Bealach Mor Lower, Springtown Road, Springtown Close, Hawthorn Grove and Drive.
