Burglars have stolen a van, ATV and a couple of saws from a property on the Glenshane Road.

Police are appealing for information following the burglary sometime between midnight and 7.30am on Thursday, March 30.

Sergeant Moody said: “Entry was gained to the property at Glenshane Road and a silver Ford Transit van, reg number SNZ 4413 filled with many different power tools along with a blue and white Yamaha Banshee stolen before a circular saw and chainsaw were also taken from a neighbouring shed.

“We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about the incident or anyone who may be offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact detectives at Strand Road Police Station on 101 quoting CCS 186 30/3/17.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
