St. Mary’s Hall, Burt is once again the venue for the village’s ever-popular Big Bingo. The session will take place this Sunday, May 24, at 3pm. Books cost 10 euro and optional sheets cost 2 euro.

There will be a 200 euro prize for the ninth full house and a 50 euro prize for the ninth line. All other lines and houses carry 25 and 50 euro prizes. The additional sheets will have the prizes marked on them.

There will also be fantastic raffle prizes, with all proceeds going to the St Aengus’ Church Restoration Fund. Please come along and bring a friend. You’ll enjoy the fun!

Tesco in Letterkenny have nominated the NW Simon Community as one of its three charities for this month’s community fund. Maureen Hamilton from the charity said: “We are asking shoppers to give their goodwill token to the NW Simon Community and spread the word to their friends. All support would be very much appreciated.”
