Where did that year go? It’s round again, Burt’s Big Book Sale! The doors of St Mary’s Hall, Burt, which is located on the main N13 road, will open tomorrow from 10.30am to 5.00pm and on Sunday, July 12, from noon to 3.00pm. Bibliophiles of all ages are very welcome to peruse the rows of tables, laden with fantastic books and partake of a little light refreshment, in a lovely, homely atmosphere. The proceeds of the Book Sale are going to the Donegal Branch of the Irish MS Society and our own Burt Red Cross. For further details, contact Kathleen on 9368373.

CLG Beart is hosting is annual Cúl Camp at Hibernian Park, Burt, for boys and girls aged 6 to 13, from Monday, July 13 until Friday, July 17, 10.00am to 2.30pm. The cost is 55 euro per child. Contact Martin McGrath on 0877431332 for further information.

This week’s winner of the Burt GAA lotto was Jimmy Twaddle, Skeog. The jackpot now stands at 1,700 euro.

Burt GAA is also organising a Ceili in Burt Hall, on Friday, July 24.

The Cairn Theatre Group presents “The Light of Other Days” in The Cairn, Greencastle, every Tuesday evening at 8pm, from July to the end of September. The Pioneer Annual Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine takes place on Sunday, July 19, in honour of Matt Talbot.
