Derry’s historic Guildhall Square will host a continental Christmas market next month and organisers are calling on potential vendors to submit applications for outdoor trading from Swiss style chalets.

Derry City Council, in partnership with VSC Events, are looking for unique and specialist traders to be a part of this winter wonderland experience in the heart of the city (December 1-22) where they will have the opportunity to sell direct to the public in a truly festive setting.

Tony Monaghan, Senior Economic Development Officer with Derry City Council, says the addition of the Christmas market to the city this year provides a rare occasion for retail and food vendors to get involved and avail of the opportunity for additional trading.

He added: “We are looking for high end, world class traders to sell their product in this exclusive festive atmosphere as the Guildhall Square is set to capture the essence of Christmas spirit.”

Opportunities for additional vendors to trade at this event are still open. For further information, visit www.vscevents.ie or contact kate@vscevents.ie or Tel: 00353 1 64322 302.
