Cheap flights from Derry for London up for grabs

Some tickets went on sale on Thursday for as little as £29 (one way) to London.

The new flight route was announced by bmi regional two weeks ago.

The twice daily route between City of Derry Airport and London Stansted will begin on May 2.

City of Derry Airport Commercial and Marketing Manager, Charlene Shongo, encouraged passengers to book their flights before the special offer ends on March 17.

“To celebrate the launch of the new City of Derry Airport to London Stansted service, bmi regional are releasing seats for sale from just £29 one way for travel between May 2 2017 and August 31 2017,” she said.

“The new route is on sale today, 09 March 2017, with fares starting from £29 one way.

“All bmi regional fares include 23kg of hold luggage, allocated seating and complimentary in-flight drinks and snacks.”

She added: “Since these amazing all-inclusive fares will be snapped up very quickly, and must be booked by March 17, customers should visit www.bmiregional.com and book their flight to avoid missing out.”
