The Manager of Derry’s Richmond Centre says he’s confident that the fashion outlet, Internacionale, will remain open at the centre, despite the appointment of administrators to the chain yesterday.

The high-street retailer specialises in women’s clothing and has ten stores across the North employing 119 staff.

Bobby Nicholson says he hopes the store, which occupies a substantial space in the Richmond Centre, will operate as normal over coming months.

“Internacionale in the Richmond Centre has not closed down and as far I understand there will be a three month period where the company looks for a buyer so the doors are not closing by any means yet, and we would hope that the store would remain in Richmond for a long time to come.”
