An information roadshow telling people all they need to know about the digital TV switchover is coming to Derry.
Digital UK’s Switchover Roadshow will hit town on Friday, August 31 and be based at Guildhall Square and will stay until the following evening.
On Monday, 4 September it moves to Limavady Roe Valley Centre, before coming back to Derry on October 11 and October 24 and 25.
Denis Wolinski, Digital UK National Manager for Northern Ireland, said: “The whole of Northern Ireland, covering more than 1.5 million viewers, will have switched to digital by the end of October. This is a great opportunity for people to meet the teams from Digital UK and the Switchover Help Scheme, find out how to prepare for switchover and learn what assistance is available.”
Earlier this month every house in Derry received a new guide to the switchover in the post. The leaflet contains detailed information, including a guide on TV equipment options, retuning instructions and how to receive Republic of Ireland channels.
