Economic focus on NW at key debate

A Business Debate focusing on ‘What are the key economic drivers for recovery in the North West?’ will take place later this year at the Great Hall in Ulster University’s Magee Campus.

The local Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Danske Bank, is hosting the major economic roundtable debate on September 23, which will be introduced by Chief Economist, Angela McGowan.

Debate leaders include Kevin Kingston, Deputy CEO and Managing Director of Business Banking, Danske Bank; Employment and Learning Minister Stephen Farry; Andrew McCormick, Permanent Secretary Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment.

Gerry Kindlon, President of the Chamber of Commerce and John Kelpie, Chief Executive Derry City and Strabane District Council will also be leading debates along with Finance Minister Arlene Foster.
