One of the major social events on the North’s business community’s calendar will take place in Derry next weekend.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), which has more than 7,000 members in the North, will hold its annual Gala Ball in the Waterfoot hotel on November 16.
FSB’s Northern Ireland Regional Chairman John Friel said the annual ball allows the body to highlight the impact small business has on local communities and the economy.
Linda Bryans will compere a charity auction and local businessman Padraig Canavan will be guest speaker at the event.
“We recently had an FSB Business Luncheon to celebrate the tremendous success of the City of Culture and also flag the challenges to capitalise on the opportunities it has presented for small local businesses,” Mr Friel said.
“We also wanted to have our annual Gala Ball here to highlight the fact that there are small businesses across Northern Ireland and we value the contribution that they can and do make to both our organisation the and local economy.”
Tickets for the FSB Gala Ball are priced at £50 each or £450 for a table of ten and are available from Charlie Thomas on firstname.lastname@example.org or 028 86769023.
