Iconic former shirt factory goes on the market for £800k

One of the last remaining buildings connecting modern day Derry to its industrial heritage has been put up for sale.

The Rosemount Factory which opened in 1904 when Derry was at the centre of the world’s shirt making industry, has been placed on the market with an asking price of £800,000.

The sale is being handled by estate agents O’Connor, Kennedy and Turtle who describe the old factory as a “great opportunity to purchase as a long-term investment” and “an attractive option for many types of investor.”
