A number of Insihowen businesses have taken top honours across a number of key categories in a newly compiled publication entitled ‘Best of Ireland’.
Published by Hot Press magazine, it’s a beautifully compiled annual magazine that shines a light on the good and the great that Ireland has to offer.
Harry’s Bar & Restaurant in Bridgend is placed in Ireland’s 50 Best Restaurants while McGory’s in Culdaff is selected in Ireland’s 20 Best Venues.
Also making their mark are St. Aengus Church in Burt which is highlighted in Ireland’s Best Building category, while model and former Miss Ireland Sarah Morrissey believes Fahan in Co. Donegal has the best view in Ireland saying it has “The best beaches and views and the tiniest old pub at the end of the road with a big log fire - heaven!”
Celebrity Chef Rachel Allen says “Donegal is the most beautiful and gorgeous place on earth” while musician Julie Feeney claims “Donegal is probably the most beautiful country in Ireland”. And Ardal O’ Hanlon is also a fan of the landscape saying his favourite view in Ireland is “The top of Errigal mountain in Donegal. It’s remarkably bleak and unspoilt and on a clear day you can see America.”
