Apprentice winner Leah Totton is to address Derry business leaders at the annual Chamber of Commerce dinner.

Alan Sugar’s apprentice is headline speaker along with Tanaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Eamon Gilmore for the 56th annual chamber dinner next Friday in the White Horse Hotel.

“We are thrilled to have two such high profile speakers at our annual dinner,” says Sinead McLaughlin, chief executive of Londonderry Chamber of Commerce. “Both are very accomplished, though in very different ways. It is great to have Leah ‘returning home’ to Derry and in a position to perhaps tell us the hidden secrets of making The Apprentice, as well as how she is building on her television fame.”

Ms McLaughlin said places at the event were selling out quickly as Chamber members responded to the high profile line up.

“We urge chamber members who want to attend to sort it now to avoid disappointment. This year’s dinner is being held at the White Horse Hotel, itself a Chamber member that has developed a deserved reputation both as a hotel and for the quality of its restaurant. Our dinners usually sell out with an attendance of more than 300 business leaders and we expect this year to follow this tradition.”
