Derry doctor Leah Totton has made it into the final of the hit series The Apprentice.
The homegrown talent battled her way through the tough interview stage tonight and will find out next week whether she’ll become Lord Sugar’s new business partner scooping a whopping £250,000 investment.
She even confessed she’d do the cleaning for the first year while her new cosmetic clinics get up and running.
But she’ll have tough competition as also going through to the final is Luisa.
In tonight’s episode the five remaining candidates each faced a cross examination about their business plans from some of Alan Sugar’s closest associates.
Claudine Collins quizzed 24-year-old Leah on her proposal.
She said: “Your whole business is about people being judged on their looks. You are potentially going to make money out of young girls, maybe not feeling good about themselves, so coming in thinking they don’t look good as they are, and want to look like all the celebrities out there.”
Leah responded: “I’m an extremely moral person. I’m very ethically aware, and I would totally challenge that point. If you want to tar me with an unethical brush you’ll have to do the same to every cosmetic surgeon in the UK.”
She also said that while Lord Sugar knows nothing about medicine, she does!
