Bank of Ireland is to create four new jobs in Derry with the opening of a new branch at Culmore Road in March.
The new branch, part of the bank’s £10 million investment in its branches in Northern Ireland, will provide a full suite of banking services for personal and business customers.
The new premises will incorporate the latest retail design and customer service standard and will include a full time Business Advisor and a Mortgage Advisor who will operate between Culmore Road and Strand Road in the city.
Under the new design principles, customer service areas will dominate the floor space and include a modern self-service section, fast cash technology system and discreet financial advice consultancies.
Staff will be highly visible and accessible in the open plan design ensuring financial advice and information will always be readily available. There will be on site customer parking and an external ATM for 24 hour access to cash.
Joe Crowe, Head of Branches, Bank of Ireland UK, said: ”We are excited to make this announcement. The new Culmore Road Branch will provide a state of the art banking environment for personal and business customers and is ideally located to support the growing number of small businesses in the area.”
“We look forward to opening our doors in March and welcoming new customers to our modern, open plan branch.”
