Sliderobes to close its Derry showroom

Sliderobes, manufacturer of fitted wardrobes, is closing its Derry showroom this week.

From September 28 next, all operations will be moved to the firm’s recently-refurbished premises at Boucher Road in Belfast.

Sliderobes says it has seen a large increase in the number of customers who choose not to visit showrooms and prefer to conduct their business online.

Richard McMullan, Group Managing Director, said: “By centralising our Northern Ireland operations, we will be in an even stronger financial position to invest in growth opportunities for the business.

“These changes will also result in cost savings in terms of economies of scale, simplifying the business process and creating productivity improvements. Customer service is not affected in any way.”
