Software firm Kainos is set to create around 60 new jobs in Derry.
The firm is a market leader in supplying technology to the healthcare, financial services and public sector.
The company states on its website that it “is continuing its global expansion programme and opening new offices in Northern Ireland. With a number of exciting job opportunities available, NOW is the right time to be part of this innovative, fast growing success story”
The Derry jobs include tecnical architect, support engineers, software engineers and client services manager positions.
Foyle MP Mark Durkan has welcomed today’s announcement.
Mr Durkan said: “This is a day to celebrate a welcome boost for Derry.
“It represents a major vote of confidence in the future of our local economy at a difficult time.
“It is further proof of the strength of our city as a regional capital and as a destination for foreign direct investment.”
The North’s Enterprise minister Arlene Foster is expected to make a full announcement later today.
