The Playhouse is currently about to embark on a new and exciting Drama Programme for woman of all ages. We are looking for a mixture of generations to take part in an 8 Week Programme facilitated by Course Director, Pat Mulkeen. The programme will take the participants through an exploration of their personal stories in a fun and humorous process. Starting Wednesday 19 January, 2.00pm-4.00pm in The Playhouse this Arts Council Funded Project seeks to call women, who have a notion to tread the boards, to register for free. Education Officer, Sharon McLennan stated “This ACNI Funded Programme is designed to enable woman of all ages to share and tell their stories through the medium of performing arts. It is promised that this Programme will be a memorable experience for those taking part including a lot of laughter.” The project will culminate in a Gala Performance in The Playhouse Theatre to celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Woman’s Day on 8th March. If you have 2 hours free per week and wish to take part then please ring Sharon or Edel at The Playhouse on 02871 268027 to register your place as numbers will be limited.
