Carn FC Sports day will take place this Sunday 12th July at 2pm at St Patrick’s Park, Admission €5 per adult and €3 per child, (maximum €20 per family). Parking at council offices and behind Café Banba and Hirrells. Plenty of attractions for all the family. A great afternoon for all the family to enjoy.

Carn FC Annual Summer Camp will take place as follows: Teenage Camp Boys and Girls aged 12-16 years 27th to 30th July. Goalkeeper Camp 4th to 7th August, Primary School Camp 10th to 14th August. 50% deposit secures your place. Family discount available. Eircode is the new postcode system for Ireland being launched in 2015. This month each postal address will receive an Eircode which will be unique to that address. Information about the new Eircodes will be available next Tuesday at 1pm at the Colgan Hall Carndonagh and at the Agricultural Show on Saturday 18th July 10.30am-2.30pm

A Charity Fight Night in the Malin Hotel Sat 18th July.Starting @ 8.50pm sharp. Adm €15. A night not to be missed.

The family of the late Charlie Porter, Collon, Carndonagh wish to thank everyone for their donations and support of the raffle for the Donegal Hospice. Total amount raised was 2,055 euro which was presented to the Hospice on 2nd July. Prizewinners of the draw were: 1st prize - Rhys McAuley, c/o Granny Carey Carndonagh - a hamper sponsored by Supervalu 2nd prize - Rian Porter, Galway - a voucher sponsored by the Strand Hotel 3rd prize - Brian Harkin, Carndonagh - a bottle of whiskey.

It’s a Knockout will be presented by Malin RNLI on Sunday 2nd August on Malin Town Green,the first time a event like this is being held in the parish, teams of 10 (over 16s), from townlands,businesses and families, clubs etc

Ceili and Old Tyme Dance will take place in the Bocan Hall on Friday 10th July with dancing from 9-12, music by John and Charlie with admission including supper €5.

Carndonagh Community School office will close on Friday 17th July and re-open on Monday 10th August. The bookshop will open on Friday 14th August from 9.30am until 4pm and on Saturday 15th August from 9.30am to 1pm. Details of school re-opening are on school website.
