A cash machine has been robbed in Limavady.

Police in Limavady are appealing for information following the burglary and theft that occurred in the Main Street area sometime between the evening Thursday 16 April and the morning of Friday 17 April.

“It is reported that a charity shop was broken into. A neighbouring ATM machine was then broken into and its contents were taken,” said a PSNI spokesperson.

The building where the incident happened was formerly used as a bank, but is now occasionally shared by local church charities for pop-up shops.

Anyone with any information about this is asked to contact Limavady Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111,” added the spokesperson.
