Chamberlain Street Clean-Up set for next Tuesday

As part of the ‘Heritage Streets Alive Program, ‘Derry’s Chamberlain Street area is involved with Church Lane in Letterkenny and Fountain Street in the city.

Focusing totally on rejuvenation through conservation, the Heritage Streets Alive Program intends to “image the street” in the year 2020 on Saturday, August 29th, from 3.30 pm to 4.30pm.

However, in preparation for the special day, the Streets Alive Program intends to host a major community clean up event to ensure the success of the project.

That event will take place this day week, Tuesday, August 25th at 10.30 a.m.

The program personnel have appealed to members of the community to meet up at the nearby Pilots Row Community Centre and if interested in taking part, bring along some gardening tools and wear old clothes.
