Children’s concert a fantasic success

The children’s concert last Friday night proved to be a resounding success yet again. The talent of the children delighted the full-house audience. Thanks to all those who took part and those who helped behind the scenes. Big thanks also to those who donated prizes for the raffle.

Carrowmenagh Community Centre is holding its annual Christmas Concert on Sunday 28th December at 8pm.

The Tremone Historical Society wish to thank Joe McLaughlin (Closha, Malin) for the excellent music he provided during our recent fund raising concert.

Charity Dance in aid of a New Wheelchair Access Mini Bus for James Connolly, Carndonagh will take place on Sunday, 28th December in the Strand Hotel, Ballyliffin. Music by Charlie’s Country Kitchen Dancing, 10pm—2am, Buffet at 11pm, Tickets 10 euro.

Moville Care of the Aged Charity Shop- Are you planning a pre-Christmas clear-out? If so, why don’t you donate your old clothes, shoes, books, jewellery, unwanted presents and household items to Moville Care of the Aged Charity shop opposite the Cosy Cottage? Shop opening hours: Monday – Friday 10am-4.30pm.

Volunteers Needed for Befriending Service

The Good Morning Service County Donegal runs the ‘Friendly Face Befriending Scheme’, covering the Inishowen Primary care area. We offer support and social contact to people over 60 in Inishowen who are living alone and who are not participating for whatever reason in everyday community activities. There was no winner of the Carrowmenagh Football Club Weekly Lotto Draw jackpot last Sunday. The numbers drawn were: 8, 13, 20, 24. €20 winners were: 1. Fionn & Ailbhe Diver, ℅ Anna, 2.
