City Cemetery targeted by thieves

Tools and machinery have been stolen from work huts and machinery stores at the City Cemetery in Derry.

Police say the properties were broken into between 4pm on Saturday past and 8:00am this morning (Monday).

Items stolen included an Allen walk-behind mower, five Tanaka strimmers, two Stihl blowers and a Dolmar blower.

Information about the thefts can be given to the CID at Strand Road by calling the 101 non-emergency number, or contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
