The City of Culture 2013 Vintage & Antiques Fair is taking place in the Cathedral Quarter, on Sunday May 5 from 11am – 6pm. Traders from all over Ireland are expected to take part in the Fair, hosted in London Street and Pump Street area of the city.
There will be a huge range of antiques, vintage clothes, jewellery, books, art and furniture to peruse.
The Fair, being run by Culture Company in association with Derry City Council and Bedlam, is just one element of the Grand Vintage weekend which also consists of the Grand Vintage Fun Day and Grand Vintage Ball.
Enjoy a fun-filled day for all the family at the Grand Vintage Fun Day on Ebrington Square from 10am – 4pm on Saturday May 4. Brush up on your sewing skills in the ‘Make a Fascinator’ and ‘Make a Petticoat’ classes on Ebrington Square from 10am-12pm and 1.30pm-3pm. Classes cost £15 and include the cost of all materials. If classic motors are your thing then come along and enjoy the North Coast Vintage Car Club and Coleraine & District Historical Vehicle Club from 12pm-1.30pm. Old style entertainment and refreshments will be available throughout the day with Vintage Tea Rooms open between 10am-4pm. Join the Puppini Sisters later that evening as they headline the Grand Vintage Ball from 8pm – 11pm.
