The annual Waterside Links Festival returns to Derry’s St Columb’s Park this Saturday (12 pm-4 pm).
This is the fifth year of the event and organisers say this year’s festival will be bigger and better than ever.
On the bill at St Columb’s Park will be Garth Brooks tribute act Jason Hughes, popular combo The Hitmen and up-and-coming local band, Foreign Owl.
There is also a host of local talent with salsa dancers, flamenco dancers and the beautiful Mandarin Choir making a return.
There will be more than twenty different stalls to browse including nails technicians and amazing birds of prey.
Healthy Living is also a feature of this year’s event with Sha Martin hosting workshops at which the public will get the chance to taste his delicious food.
The festival will also have a wide range of inflatables for the kids as well as the popular Laser Tag game.
Both the Fire Brigade and Police Service will be on hand with some of their vehicles and equipment.
There will also be plenty of workshops running throughout the day at which the public can participate in making small crafts.
Food will be available throughout the day and plenty of fun and laughter is guaranteed.
