SDLP Councillor Angela Dobbins has urged vigilance within communities in the Ballyarnett area of the city following another house burglary and car theft.

Speaking following the incident this weekend, Councillor Dobbins said: “Another residence in the Woodbrook area has been burgled and the family car stolen. This, along with the arson attack on a car in Sandale Park, is another incident to add to a catalogue of anti social activity involving the destruction and damage to cars in recent weeks.

These incidents are not confined to any specific area, they have occurred throughout the Ballyarnett District area. I am asking all communities to be more vigilant, especially during these holiday periods when their

neighbours are not at home, and to report any suspicious activity to PSNI.
