In his letter, Conor has outlined his recent success on the X Factor, having made it to the Six Chair Challenge and narrowly missing out in a place at Judges’ houses.

He states: “I have just released my debut original single ‘Kings Of Our Time’ written by my good friend David Oliver here in Ireland and we have put together the music video in one of the most historical buildings in my hometown of Derry.

“The reaction so far has been great ...BUT as I’m sure you know ... Trying to get your song noticed independently with very little money or backing behind you is VERY difficult.

“I really hope you and your team can have a watch and a listen and let me know what you think. We think it’s really special and would love to perform it on your show!”
