Next weekend, In Your Space will kick off the summer in spectacular fashion with the return of ‘The Carnivale of Colours’ at St Columb’s Park.

This family-orientated event opens its Big Top door at 1pm on June 2 for an unprecedented three days of carnival fun and frolics. The Carnivale of Colours is this year celebrating its fifth birthday and international acts from across the globe will be arriving in the city to join in the fun.

Set in its usual lush, picturesque surroundings, the weekend offers a host of shows, activities and scrumptious delights from free arts and crafts, face painting, stilt-walkers, storytelling, drumming circles, as well as gourmet food stalls and the odd game of Golf! Behold and witness the cream of the city’s finest emerging talent at the festival’s own ‘Pyramid Stage’.

The stage, which is coordinated by local musician Tina McLaughlin and The Jammhouse will feature artists such as SOAK, John Deery and Dan Official, to name but a few.

Local performers and members of the North West Circus School will have an opportunity to woo the crowds alongside international street acts Rob Torress, Wacky Chad, Fatt Matt and Granny Turismo!

The festival runs next weekend, June 2-4, at St Columb’s Park. Daytime events run from 1pm-7pm, with night-time events running from 8pm til late.
