Police in Limavady are warning business owners to be vigilant after counterfeit £20 notes were circulated in the town at the weekend.
Over the past weekend counterfeit £20 notes were passed at a shop at Coolessan Walk, Limavady.
Constable Harper, the investigating officer, said that the notes related to two banks.
“We are asking shopkeepers to keep a close eye on bank notes. Anyone with information can also contact us on the 101 non-emergency number,” he said.
