Jordan Hazlett, of The Old Fort, Strathfoyle, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour on June 17, last year.

Derry Magistrate’s Court heard that Hazlett was shouting and ‘squaring up’ to taxi drivers in the Strand Road area of the city.

The defendant, who did not have a solicitor present, said he was sorry for his behaviour.

Fining Hazlett, District Judge Barney McElholm said ‘this was not the wisest way to get a lift home’.
