Charged with assault

A 46-year-old has appeared in court accused of a domestic assault.

Donald Andrew McCorkell, of Ardnabrocky, Drumahoe, is charged with assaulting his wife on June 21.

He is further charged with causing damage to a mobile phone on the same date.

McCorkell was released on bail with conditions to appear in court again on August 3.
