Charged with having knife
A man has appeared in court accused of possessing a knife in a Waterside bar.
Paul Kerr, whose address was given as Lisneal, is charged with possessing an article with a blade, namely a knife, on March 16.
The charge relates to an alleged incident in the Ritz Bar.
Defence solicitor Derwin Harvey told the court his client denies the offence.
The 43-year-old was released on continuing bail and banned from entering the Ritz Bar.
He will appear in court again on September 1.
