A Derry doctor facing indecent assault charges against female patients has told a preliminary inquiry into his case that he is “definitely not guilty”.
Lee Casey (51) of Mansefield Grove is charged with two counts indecently assaulting two individuals under the age of 18.
During a preliminary inquiry into his case at Derry Magistrates Court defence for Dr. Casey said there were no objections to the holding of the inquiry.
When the defendant was asked if he wished to make any statement in relation to the charges he replied: “definitely not guilty”.
The case will now proceed to Derry Crown Court on September 18 for arraignment.
The defendant was released on his own bail of £200 to await trial.
