An Inishowen man has pleaded guilty to four charges at Letterkenny Circuit Court, including possession of an offensive weapon.
Ashley Nicholl, Bocan, Culdaff appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court on Tuesday last in relation to the charges.
Nicholl is charged with criminal damage, dangerous driving, driving without a valid licence and driving while disqualified at Tul na Ri, Carndonagh on September 22nd, 2012.
He is also charged with possessing the weapon, a golf club, at the same location and on the same date, with intention to cause injury.
The criminal damage offence relates to damaging a motor car at the same location, also on September 22nd, 2012.
Nicholl was also charged with driving a car in a manner which was dangerous to the public, at Tul na Ri, Carndonagh on the same date, doing so without a licence and also driving while disqualified.
He pleaded guilty to all charges at the Circuit Court, which was being heard in front of Justice Matthew F. Deery.
At the request of Nicholl’s defence barrister Patricia McCallum, the case adjourned to the next sitting of the court for the preparation of Probation and Welfare reports.
Nicholl was remanded on continuing bail to appear at the next sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court which will take place in December.
