A man is due in court today charged in connection with an alleged assault outside a pub in Derry’s city centre.
The 29-year-old has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He is due to appear before Derry Magistrate’s Court this morning.
The charges relate to a report of an assault outside a bar in the Waterloo Street area at around 9pm on Wednesday.
A PSNI spokesman said that as is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
