Drugs estimated to be valued at £80, 000 were seized by the PSNI in Limavady this week.
Tests have yet to confirm it, but police believe the drug to be cocaine. The seizure occurred during a search of a house in the Glenbeg Walk area of Limavady on Friday and house searches in the Glens area on Thursday.
Officers in G District secured £30,000 worth of the drug and £2,500 in cash on Thursday and £50,000 of the drug on Friday. Three people arrested on Thursday have been released on bail.
Area Commander for Limavady, Chief Inspector Sam Donaldson, said: “This is a tremendous success in the fight against drugs for the Limavady area. I am extremely grateful to the local community for their assistance in this investigation and can state any information received in relation to drugs use or supply allows us to further our investigations and rid our neighbourhood of these deadly substances.”
