Appeal following city centre disturbance

Police are appealing for information following a disturbance in the New Market Street area of Derry in the early hours of Monday morning.

At around 12.30am police received a report that there was a disturbance involving a large crowd of people.

Four men, two aged 20, one aged 22 and one aged 18, were arrested on suspicion of a number of offences. They were later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Constable Chris White would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact Police at Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 17 24/10/16.
