Creeper burglars torch BMW after stealing it from outside house in Derry

Creeper burglars have stolen a BMW before torching it out the back of Creggan following a break-in in Derry.

Detectives in Derry are investigating the report the burglary at a house in Lowry's Lane on Wednesday, October 7.

It is believed that the house was entered at around 7am on Wednesday morning with a sum of cash and the keys to a blue BMW car taken.

The car was driven from the property and later found burnt out at Glassagh Road.

Detective Sergeant Richard Donnell said: “I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity at Lowry’s Lane on Wednesday morning or who saw a blue BMW car being driven between Lowry’s Lane and Glassagh Road to contact detectives in Strand Road on 101 quoting reference number 392 07/10/20, or submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
