A 22-year-old man has appeared in court accused of a ‘creeper style’ burglary.

Caoimhin Gallagher, with an address on court papers in Larne, is charged with burglary of a house in Upper Nassau Street, aggravated take and cause damage to a car, driving whilst disqualified and having no insurance.

The charges relate to an alleged incident on May 30.

Gallagher is further charged with a burglary of a house in Francis Street between June 30 and July 10.

An investigating officer told Derry Magistrates Court she believed she could connect the 22-year-old to the charges.

There was no application for bail and Gallagher was remanded in custody to appear in court again via videolink on September 11.
