A 20-year-old man has appeared in court accused of breaking into a Waterside chapel.
Bernard Cooke, of Cornshell Fields, is charged with burglary with intent to steal on November 11, last year.
The charge relates to an alleged incident at St Mary’s Church, Ardmore.
He is also faces three further charges of burglary with intent to steal.
These relate to incidents at Greenhaw Terrace and Hampstead Park on December 19, last year.
An investigating officer told Derry Magistrates Court she believed she could connect Cooke to the charges.
Defence solicitor Keith Kyle told the court his client is currently on remand for a sepearate burglary charge and there would no application for bail.
