Drug dealing pair jailed

Two drug dealers from Derry have been jailed for having £20,000 worth of cannabis with intent to supply it.

Angelo John Gerard Doherty, 27, from Coolessan Walk, Limavady and 22 year-old Andrew Fulton from Moore Street, Derry , pleaded guilty at Derry Crown Court, sitting in Belfast.

Doherty, who also admitted having £900 worth of cannabis and other drugs on March 18, 2010 was jailed for two years and he will have to serve two years on licence after his release.

The court was told that he had served a 30 month jail term in 2007 for drugs offences.

Fulton was ordered to spend one year in prison and another on licence after he is freed.
