A man who admitted possessing nine bags of cannabis has been fined £175.
The cannabis was found after officers were called to the White Horse Hotel because paraphernalia was found in a room.
Gary Magee, of Tamlough Park, Ballykelly, pleaded guilty to simple possession of the class B drug on October 21, 2013.
Derry Magistrates Court heard that a car parked outside the hotel was searched and the nine bags of cannabis were found in the boot.
The 31-year-old handed himself into police at a later date and admitted the drugs were his.
