Four months jail for driving offences

A man who pleaded guilty to a number of motoring offences has been jailed for a total of four months.

David Quigley, of 285 Cornshell Fields, admitted eleven offences relating to an incident on November 8, last year.

These included dangerous driving, speeding, driving whilst unfit, disorderly behaviour, criminal damage and assaulting police.

Jailing the 24-year-old for four months, Deputy District Judge Des Perry said: “This is an appalling piece of behaviour. You put your life and the lives of many other people at risk.”

Quigley was also fined a total of £1150 and was disqualified from driving for three years.
