Fourth arrest in petrol bomb investigation

Police in Derry have revealed that a 20 year old man has been arrested in connection with a petrol bombing incident in the Benvarden Avenue at the weekend.

Four people are now in custody helping police with their enquiries into the incident which left a 45 year old man seriously injured.

Two males aged 24 and 25, and a female aged 44 have previously been arrested.

The victim, Thomas Curry (45) is in a critical condition in Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital after petrol bombers targeted his home on Friday night.
