A 41-year-old man has appeared in court accused of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis.

Richard Callaghan, of Rathmor Crescent, is further charged with possessing cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply and simple possession of the class A and class B drugs.

The charges relate to the alleged seizure of £125,000 worth of drugs on June 13.

An investigating officer told Derry Magistrates Court he believed he could connect the 41-year-old to the charges.

There was no application for bail and Callaghan was remanded in custody to appear in court again on July 10.
